Violent night at council estate: "Violence in Odense’s Vollsmose council housing estate yesterday evening was the result of confrontations between motorcycle and immigrant gangs, according to police.
Ekstra Bladet newspaper reported that five people were arrested after the fracas, which police believe was begun by young minority men and members of Hells Angels affiliate AK81. Three people have reportedly been charged in connection with the violence.
Initial reports pointed to gunfire at the estate, but police say they were unable to confirm the information. Witnesses did tell police that there was fighting between groups and that some of the participants had baseball bats.
No new clashes were reported during the evening, according to police reports this morning."
