Bikies bailed on murder plot charge: "Three Sydney bikies charged with conspiring to murder a member of a rival gang are to be released on bail.
In Sydney's Central Local Court today, magistrate Allan Moore received a 'by consent' application from Herbert Laupepa's lawyer and the Director of Public Prosecutions and agreed to the accused's release from remand, after the payment of a $150,000 surety.
Laupepa, 28, from Georges Hall in south-west Sydney, was arrested on October 26.
He was the sixth man to be charged with conspiring to murder Hells Angel Peter Zervas, who was shot more than six times outside his mother's home in Lakemba in March last year. Mr Zervas survived the attack.
The shooting came only a week after his brother, Anthony Zervas, was beaten to death in a brawl between the Comanchero and Hells Angels at Sydney Airport."
