Police seek to outlaw Hells Angels bikie gang under new laws | Courier Mail: "POLICE will apply to the Supreme Court to have the Hells Angels bikie gang dismantled and declared a criminal organisation. In an announcement made today, police will seek to have the gang declared the first outlaw group in NSW.
It comes in light of new legislation, the Crimes (Criminal Organisations Control) Act 2009, passed by State Parliament in April last year, allowing the court to declare criminal organisations as declared organisations.
Gangs Squad Commander Detective Superintendent Mal Lanyon, said the Hells Angels would be the first gang targeted."
